Snake Ranch Studios was forced to close in June 2004 following a lengthy battle against rent increases and redevelopment plans. For those of you who are nostalgic about the place the web site is still here for you to enjoy a few photos and studio details.

The original studio details follow below:
Studio 1 has a spacious wood-panelled live area, accommodating up to 25 musicians in a warm and natural acoustic. The control room is equally large, giving clients a relaxed and comfortable environment in which to work. It is an ideal studio for any small orchestral group or jazz ensemble.
Studio 2 offers a bright and airy control room with a smaller recording booth attached. This studio is perfect for projects involving a higher proportion of electronic music sources or single instrument overdubs, where a large live recording area is not strictly necessary.
Both control rooms are equipped to the same high standard, making it easy for clients to transfer sessions between each studio and thereby maximise the use of their budget.
We can offer full 5.1 monitoring and Dolby Surround in either room, giving complete flexibility for film soundtrack mixing as well as DVD production. We also have two ProTools 24 systems available for digital multitrack editing, track laying or mixing.
We pride ourselves in providing a friendly, efficient and above all professional service to all our clients, as well as offering great value for money. If you would like a specific quote for any forthcoming project, or would simply like to visit the studio to see what makes us one of west London’s top music recording facilities, call us.
I hope that we can be of service to you in the near future.
